This erotic miniature beautifully illustrates eleven lovemaking postures described by Sheikh Nefzawi in the most famous of the Arab love manuals "The Perfumed Garden" written in the 16th century. The eleven watercolors by Alicia Bailey are lavishly reproduced against backgrounds of bold floral patterns.
